Accounting and Financial Practices and Reporting Division (FMO-2)

Lance Cpl. Tonya S. Lujan, supply clerk, Supply Platoon, Headquarters Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, works on her computer to track, manage and order supplies for units within CLR-17, 1st MLG, aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 14. Supply Marines will be implementing a new program called the Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps within the next few days to help keep track of military gear.

The Accounting and Financial Practices and Reporting Division is responsible for a number of areas including the Annual Financial Reports, information gathered from the Data Collection Module (DCM), the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) reports, and financial metrics. The Accounting and Financial Practices and Reporting Division is also the manager of the Business Process Standardization (BPS) program.

The Accounting and Financial Practices and Reporting Division is comprised of two branches:

  1. Accounting and Reporting (FMO-21)

    The Accounting and Reporting Branch is responsible for compiling the Financial Statements for the DON. Other responsibilities include: financial metrics, liaising with DFAS-Cleveland.
  2. Financial Management Procedures and Practices (FMO-22)

    The Financial management Procedures and Practices branch is responsible for managing the Business Process Standardization Program (BPS). BPS is a Navy-wide initiative to streamline processes across the segments in ERP and Legacy system environments.
