2012 Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Conference Presentations
On 22 and 23 February 2012, FMO hosted the 2012 FIAR Conference, which featured speakers from various commands and communities throughout the DON; panelists with financial audit experience on both the auditor and auditee sides; a guest appearance by USNA Football Coach Ken Niumatalolo; and inspiring and interactive discussion with DON and DoD leadership. The Conference focused on creating a renewed enthusiasm for the importance of audit readiness in the DON and a deeper understanding of the action steps needed to accomplish our audit readiness goals.
